Shiloh Praise Band prepares for special late summer events

A special back-to-school, outdoor "On Beat" is scheduled for Saturday night, August 23, 2008 at Shiloh Baptist. All youth and young adults that enjoy high-energy praise music are encouraged to attend and bring your friends. There will be live music, a special message, food and fun. (No admission charge)

Shiloh Praise Band is also preparing to headline a special high-energy praise concert at the historic Sylvia Theater in York, SC on Saturday night, September 13, 2008. SPB will be joined by acoustic artist, Emma Delematter, from Charlotte, for the Theater's first Saturday night concert featuring Christian praise music.

Ticket prices are $8 in advance/$10 at the door. Groups of ten or more can purchase tickets in advance for $6. Tickets for the concert are now available throught the Theater (sylviatheater.com) or online at etix.com.

Church-Wide Mission Project

Our church-wide mission project for July will be to collect school supplies for John McCorkle's mission trip to Panama in August. The school supplies will go to a ministry that has been set up to teach the children of Bocas Del Toro about God's word. The following items have been requested: crayons, colored pencils, construction paper, pencils and pens, scissors, drawing paper and plain paper, Bible coloring books, paint brushes, and washable tempura paints. Please place the items in the red and blue tubs in the breezeway.
