Sports Camp

This year’s Sports Camp was a great success.In spite of the heat we averaged 138 children in the sports and day camps.The most important thing is that 52 first time decisions for Christ were made on Thursday.Thursday night’s sports banquet was the largest crowd we’ve ever had; the Family Ministry Center was filled to capacity.The meal was great and the praise team, along with the children, did a wonderful job of leading us in worship through music.The prizes and awards brought a lot of smiles to a lot of young faces.

This year we added a batting cage to our facilities and it was a great help in giving the children more opportunities to learn hitting.We appreciate so much those who donated it to our church. Next year we will do it all over again only bigger and better.Our plans are to add a soccer field during the off season.I want to thank the 75 volunteers that helped make this happen again this year.
